I have 2 reels spooled with 1 wt line. A Pflueger Supreme (the small one, forgot the number) available from Hook and Hackle for less that $50 and a Medalist 1492.
One line came with the Clear Creek combo from Cabelas the other is an Orvis line my good friend RW was kind enough to sell me after he made a good buy on a couple of them off ebay.
I have two Dan Craft 1wts- the Sig III 6’10" 3pc and the Sig IV 7’ 6pc. The 3pc is a great rod and has a nice action. The 6pc, surprisingly, is a buggy whip and the full action is a little much even for a 1wt, I much prefer the 3pc. I also use the Rio Pocketwater, which is discontinued but still avaiable for real cheap at Sierra Trading Post.
cris from canada - where did you find an 8’ 1 wt blank? I’ve been looking for that length for a while.
