Found this on Michael Johnson’s [b]site[/b]. Had a hell of a time with the tinsel tag; this is the 5th try and it’s still not right.
hook - BVFT Dry #10
thread - Danville 6/0 brown
tag - medium tinsel gold
abdomen - Depth Ray fire orange/resin
thorax - peacock herl
collar - hen furnace

I can never get those tinsel tag thingys right either. I think it has to do with cutting the tinsel with a long tapered point and wrapping in the right direction which I have no idea what that is.
Isn’t tag a kids game? I also have trouble with them.

I tapered the point, tied it in at the 2/3 mark, brushed the shank with Super Glue, wrapped back then forward over the first wraps (which is how I normally tie a tinsel body) and it still buckled; the 2-sided stuff I have seems to be a bit thicker than what I usually use.
