By: Dominic Garnett
I am always seeking knowledge of how other fly fisher in other area and around the world work their waters. By doing this I have learned so much about how to fish the waters in my home area. Dominic Garnett well covers his tackle and methods for fishing all of the species covered in this book. Even though American angler only have a few of these species there is still much to be learned from this volume.
Of course many of the fly patterns are different from the American patterns and I was very interested in these patterns and have already adapted some of them for my own use. The information is very well written and clearly comes across and someone who has a decided passion for the subject being covered.
The sections on Pike, Perch, Chub and Carp were excellent and American anglers can learn much from this information. Also the photos are top notch and the information on tying the patterns is thoroughly covered. All in all I completely enjoyed Dominic’s volume and would easily recommend it to all who wish to increase their knowledge of fly fishing for the other freshwater species.
