I checked in on Paul last night as I hadn’t heard from him in a couple weeks, & I have been asked if I had heard from him. He’s doing OK. He has been very busy working on the house repairing storm damage, & has even had some time to fish. He’s caught some steelhead & “sea runs”. We talked about everything from fly tying areas to wading boot soles, to having a real good discussion about the benefits of using a Folstaf. These calls are great for me as I ALWAYS learn something beneficial from Paul whenever we speak. That is in addition to the pleasure of getting to just visit with him.
BTW, he apologizes for no fishing pics, but he doesn’t carry a camera when fishing alone.

Mike I am glad to hear he is doing ok. BTW have those Bluegill Ponds opened up for you yet?
Would love to see some more pictures of those slabs you catch.
Tim,
The ponds MAY have some open water now, but with our sudden warming & the rain we just had, they would be mud baths. It actually is still a little early. Depending upon the weather, I may hit a pond or 2 sometime in March. Rest assured, there will be pics. BTW, Granddaughter Tori & Grandson Connor have already been asking about fishing…gotta love that!
Mike
Thanks for the update Mike, glad to here the news about flybinder,
and your little ones already excited about the start up of the fishing season…
Glad he’s feeling better~
Also glad Paul is doing well. Warren tried calling him when I was in TN, but there was no answer. Hopefully he was fishing and not working.
