45 years or so ago I’d have been lookin’ to add one of those to the hood of my '47 Pontiac convertible.
Wonder what Andy Warhol would have tied if he was into the craft?
Norman, you’ve found a new direction to head with your tying! Don’t hold back let’s see 'em.
the flies were not mine. they belonged to Val Kropiwnicki
I know Norm. I was just tryin’ to make a dumb joke. Sorry if I poked you in the wrong rib.
That is some nice stuff

Those took some fine material handling techniques and really shoved what could be done with thread, fur and feather. Interesting to look at what can be accomplished if one practices his art and takes it to places that are not the norm for the practice.
I tend to “tie to fish” and not to “tie to tie”, but I could still appreciate or could at least try to imagine what it took to pull some of those flies off which any tier has to respect. Cool stuff, enjoyed the photos.

Normand,
Thanks for the link. I really got a kick out of the Mother & Child pattern! I will definitely pass this on to my fly tyer friends as well as any artists I know. I’m simply amazed!!!
