I got a $99 “mission desk” from Target. (Assemble it yourself).
Works perfectly.
They have several other $99 models as well.

I used the slant top design from the Cabels link Norm posted , drew up my own specs and had one built for me by a family member with a wood shop that make Norm Abrams proud. Simple #2 pine, then painted on the outside, distressed then stained all over. The material cabinet was my own desgin, bottom drawer is 6" deep, middle are 4" and top are 2" (all approx). It finished in distressed black like the desk (I just dont have any good pics of it finished). They’re both 30" wide & about 48" tall.
I love that material cabinet bass bug. I may have to steal your design.

Thanks. I got tired of digging thru boxes for materials. The top (2") shallow drawers were meant for flat packages of feathers, saddles, capes, necks etc. The middle (4" deep) drawers were meant for packs of marabou, wool sculpin patches and hair patches etc. Stuff that tends to ‘pillow up’ no matter much you try to squeeze out the air and seal them. The bottom two 6" deep were meant for dubbing boxes, and bigger odd sized stuff. all the drawers have full extension slides too.
I started with an old brief case to keep ALL my tying stuff in. When I started looking for a 4th shoe box after only a year, I had the desk made. That worked for about 4 years until it was full and I started sketching out the cabinet.
The worst part is I could use another cabinet just like it. And a bigger desk of course. but I think most of us can say that.
Coughlin, what happened to Cutter. He would love this thread.
