When you send in your bugs, DO NOT use your SASE envelope. I just found out they come to your own door. It IS quick, but…?
It continues to be a tough job…being EYEtalian.
Sorry Diane, they are NOW on their way.

…lee s.
Lee S;
HaHaHa…Too much!! At least you got to check out the postal system!
P. S. Did you like the fly’s you recieved?
Don’t forget the Michigan Fish-In August 14th to the 20th. The Holy Water’s of the Au Sable await you!!
Cactus
lee, that’s what you get for trying to cut out the middle (wo)man! Let’s see if I can maybe get you some more variety than you just sent yourself.
Another thing is do not use metered mail on the return container.
That will not fly at all.
Rick
Rick,
What is metered mail?
I would surely get around to that too, unless informed. And even THAT is no garauntee.
Metered mail is a postage strip applied to the envelope from a machine at the post office or buisness. It replaces regular stanps. But is not any good if over a couple of days old. Always use regular stanps for your return envelopes. John

I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.
Hi Folks,
Quick question! I have not been putting
postage on the return package, but instead I
slip two $1 bills in the fly box. Average
postage has been less than a buck. Is this
system problematic for anyone? If so, I’ll
refrain from doing so. Just checking. Warm
regards, Jim
I don’t think that would be a problem with any one Jim, but it is not a good idea to send cash in the mail. I have had many tiers send me cash insted of stamps. John

I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.
More swappers than you can imagine do that. I’ve got some euro-dollars sitting here and some Canada dollars, so next time I’m through the airport I’ll see what happens. With the changes in postage between when swaps were started and when they were mailed, it was surprising how forward thinking your swappers are. JGW
Oh Mi Gosh!
That is my intention too, to send return postage cash. Dang if we don’t forget it a bunch and have to send separate.
MORE EYEtalian moments!

It’s comming Diane.
I’m fine with the bucks rather than the postage for return. I do the same.
What I don’t really care for is receiving money from other countries. I do my banking with direct deposit and mostly online. The only time I go to the bank is to deal with Euros, Canadian funds, etc. from swaps. Oh, and metered envelopes usually don’t work because of the time delay between the metering and the actual mailing.
lee s… I told you this swap is on me. Forget about that postage. Jim Hatch overpaid last time. Thank him for underwriting you this time.
Diane
