Fly shops and guiedes in Jackson Hole and West Yellowstone.

My son and his wife are traveling through Jackson Hole and West Yellowstone with a truck and trailer. They are thinking about a half day guided trip in each place. Looking at Grand Teton Fly fishing in Jackson Hole and Arricks in West. Any input from you guys?
Thanks very much in advance.

Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone is first rate; only used a guide once (birthday present) but the guide, Tom Cornell, did a great job and we had lots of fun.

Scott

I second that recommendation. There’s actually an embarrassment of riches with regard to fly shops in West Yellowstone. Part of the fun of going there is to go into all the shops, but Blue Ribbon is by far my favorite.

When are they going to be in the area, it may be tuff tofind a guide on short notice. My recommendation is Campfire Lodge and Resort on the Madison. They could park their rig fish with a short walk and possibly hook up with their guide for a half day.

Thanks for all the info! I think they are going in a couple of weeks so yeah might be tuff but should be fun for sure. I wish I was going with them! I hope to make it there some day!
