Just made a spur of the moment decision and bought a Fly Logic Premium reel for a hell of a good price. Anyone try one of these reels yet, seemed like a good warranty, hope I didn’t pick up a piece of junk.

I bought a Fly Logic combo 4wt at our annual fly club banquet in June, equipped with line and leader. Everyone was so busy bidding on the sage and other rods they didn’t even see the Fly Logic. I got it for the minimum bid, which was mine. I am no expert on rods and reels but I really like the rod and reel. So far, it plays and lays out line better than any other rod I have. I think you will like it. You didn’t pick up a piece of junk. If you are too worried about it let me know. I will take it off your hands. Just tell yourself you done good…because you did.

I have the FLP eight wt with the 8/9/0 reel. Can you believe the capacity on the reel? Amazing. The rod is a super caster even to this neophyte flinging weigted lines in a vain attempt to catch steelhead. I am pleasex with my rig and cannot imagine giving it up for something else. They are made In the US of A too. I wonder why we do not hear and read more about the FlyLogic gear?
