Fly for my new Daughter

Hi,

I designed a bucktail streamer for my new daughter (Genesta Lee) and posted it awhile back. On the day before she was born, I added a few fancy bits for the “full dressed” version. I like the out come and thought I would show both for comparison.

Here’s the work a day one:

And here’s one in it’s Sunday best:

Although I’ve not fished many bucktails, I’m keen to give these a try. I know a couple rivers where I think these would do well.

Very nice flies, Jeff. Keep the first set as a keepsake. May be frame them with a picture of your daughter.

I second Tyrone’s idea - I would save the first one and frame it with a pic of your beautiful daughter.

Hi,
Thanks TyroneFly (and everyone for the congrats), I plan on keeping the first set. The photo is a good idea and I have an idea what photo to use as well, but there will be many to choose from! And congrats to you too Jim!

And yes, Mum and Baby are both doing well.
