Well, there were finally enough women (that fish), for us to have
a women’s fishing day! So, at 9:00 AM Wednesday morning we all met
at Ron’s and my cabin (all four of us). I have to admit I wasn’t
sure what it would be like, since I have never fished with all women…
It was a Hoot! One of the most fun and memorable days of fishing
I’ve ever had! The weather was good (not too hot), and we went
to the upper Selway river. I’ve always caught fish on that section
of the river and since I didn’t know what everyone’s abilities were,
there is a variety of water and most of it has plenty of room to
cast.
Well, Dianna caught two fish and the rest of us were either
missing them or getting nothing. Then Judy got a fish and things
slowed down, enough that we decided to move down to the next run…
Man, I was hoping the other women were having fun because we weren’t
catching much, so I was getting worried…turns out they were having
fun anyway.
Wahoooo! FISH ON! Heidi landed her first fish! Well, after that
we all started catching fish Wahooo! Fish On!, Wahoooo! Fish On!
Everyone caught at least one really nice fish! We fished laughed,
helped each other land the fish and made sure we got good pictures
…the camaraderie was wonderful, and the fishing was great!
Finally about 4:30PM We all decided to call it a day, mainly because
we were getting cold and hadn’t had a bathroom break or eaten anything
all day. You know we were having a blast! We got back to camp around
or 5:30 and later that evening showed off our fish porn pictures to
everyone.
It was soooo much fun that we’ll be doing it again next year!
This isn’t a very long article because I’m one of the people who
got wet! LOL Now I have a bad cold and will be going back to bed
as soon as I send this off to Jim and Deanna…And yes the Fish-In
at Lowell is worth getting a cold.
