The wife and I needed some time off together so we decided to go fishing to our favorite lake. Spent a few hours fishing and the trout were only hitting flies. Fact of the matter caught all of them on a stillwater nympth. All are about 13"
This is the ugly guy that caught them (yea it is me)
Fish God;
So glad, to hear, that things are under control enough to allow you two some “time away together”!!
Nice stringer of fish, too! “Little bacon grease…little salt…little pepper…”!?!
However, I can still see signs of the stress you’ve been under, lately. Like the tag on your shirt pocket, in the photo, that reminds you obviously; “which country you’re fishing in”! That can be very important, if you should travel a lot.
I’m so glad you are able to get out and relax a bit after all you have been thru. That is some very nice water and country you were in.
The fish are a pleasant bonus, fat and bright. Should be some good eating there. With all the prayers sent out for you and your family some extra must have made its way to your fishing trip.
Tell Robert we are still pulling for him.
Take Ladyfishers hint to heart and come meet us all at the Idaho fish in.
SO THAT’S WHAT A “HARLEY BOB” LOOKS LIKE!!! you are obviously an impostor according to the pics that I’ve seen. Take some time for yourselves you need and deserve it
Gringo the card is actually a pack of smokes. I smoke USA gold menthols. Did not prep enough for the pic or that would not have been showing. LOL. Ladyfisher I would love to make the Idaho fish in. As with most, my plans and pocketbook are not quite the same. With it being just a 4-5 hour drive I may get up there for a day or 2 we shall see. Gnu Bee Flyer you are so right the country is very nice and less then 90 miles from my house. Long story short I started life in BC, Canada then Washington, back to BC, Then Idaho. The country here is as close as I can get to the country in BC. Nighthawk thank you. Whichwayout I hope you get some fish if that is what you want. We actually didn’t plan on catching any at all but we got a little blessing from the Lord and boom there they were.
JC I love the hat as well and wear it everywhere. It does raise a question or two at times which I am always glad to answer. Saint Paul the wise one-my friend you would not have been calling me flygod yesterday. I lost 4 due to poor hooksets and missed more then I care to think about.
The only thing my wife and I regretted yesterday was the fact we did not take the moter home and spend the night or a few days. It was a day I shall remember for a long time. I was so nice to spend some quality time with my wife and no one else, I only wish she was the one who caught the fish.
