Flooding in Ohio!

Gee whizz Tuber I hope your not too close to the flooding. I looked on the map and Lindsay Ohio looks fairly near to you. Keep your tube handy my friend.

My Prayers go out for all those in the flood zone.

There has been flooding near us, but no problem for us. The low lying areas where my wife teaches in Waynesburg always get some floods, & Barberton (where my daughter Maggie just started teaching) had some. Her one drive home the other day was pretty slow. Thunderstorms HAVE stopped my fishing, but will be able to get out soon, I hope.
Mike

Glad to here your high and dry (Almost) Mike. I’ve been watching it on the news. Man could we ever use some of that down here!!

Mike,

Glad you not in the serious flooding. Not all of Ohio is wet. My part of the world hasn’t had any appreciable rain in over a month. The corn fields look like its October and I haven’t mowed the grass in five weeks (not that I’m complaining). Stay dry, stay safe, and send some south and west if you can.

Hey Mike - glad you’re dry and safe.

I’m down here with Joe and send any of that water our way.

Spiked corn and crunchy dry grass is not normal here!

HOW ABOUT GUTBOMB??? Are you okay??

Joe & Jim,
Had some great sweet corn the other night…FABULOUS! Will try to move some of this rain southwest…then maybe I can go fishin’!!
Mike

Hey Mike - we have a great place down here to fish whenever you make it down here - Joe, Jeff and I will be more than happy to take you as long as you bring some of that rain with you!

If you guy’s can bring any of that rain down here I’ll put ya up and take ya fishing!!

You’re a good man, Jack. Tell Mikie to bring at least a half a million acre-feet of rain with him. We’d like it spread over a week or so.

Ed

Hey Jack

We have plenty here in NW Ohio…the problem is that the rivers flow North! :?

Brad

Jack,

I’ve begun the rain dance and ritual incantations. Let me know if it works out!

Joe

I am getting a strange mental image of that dance

I must be off…

Brad

If his “rain dance” is anything like his “happy dance” after he lands a fish - it just might work…

IT WORKED! We got rain late on Friday night!!! Not lots, but enough to help out.

THANKS!

I might get out Monday after all.

Ed

Good Job Joe!!
We also had a nice rain here last night!
You can still come down and fish.

Jack,

Glad to hear the rains came. Never under estimate the power of chicken entrails! Hope it keeps coming in just the right amounts at the right times.

Good to here it! We didn’t get anywhere near enough rain. So, the magic is in the chicken entrails? OK. There should be a “special delivery” for you from a Tyson plant down here. It isn’t coming UPS, it’s coming 40’ dump bed trailer. We NEED the rain. Thanks again.

Ed

Sorry Ed, Tysons or just any old chicken won’t work. You need to have silver grade or better roosters with the necks and saddles still attached. Color isn’t as improtant as grade so when you have that trailer loaded and ready for shipping please let me know. Thanks

While were on the subject of chickens, has anyone (maybe when they were young) ‘caught’ chickens in a barn at night with only a faint red light glowing??? (The chicken truck outside waiting)
Thanks,
Doug

Ed

Better call Denny and order a load of his chickens…in assorted colors
