Flies from dubbing brushes

Made dubbing brushes from what was left over after cutting Artic fox hair off.

Rick,

I use dubbing brushes frequently when tying many of my Bluegill patterns or Gamechangers. About 30 years ago, I desingned a simple to make dubbing brush twister from readily available materials. I probably made 100 of them and sold them all over the world. I’ve since upgraded my twister to be morotized, but I’ve attached the photo of the plans for the simple model if anyone would like to build their own. I will of course be happy to answer any questions people may have on it’s construction. Jim Smith

That’s a nice design.

James,
That is a very professional looking dubbing table. Makes mine look like a caveman model… Thank you for sharing yours with us.

MY son made one for me. Does not take long to make a Brush. I have found that Ilike 29 gauge wire to make them. I get a tighter wrap than with 32 gauge.
