Flatty shrimp

This is either a fat shrimp or a skinny crab, take your pick. An imitation of an EP fly.

Hook - Gamakatsu SL11-3H #4
Thread - Danville’s 210 Denier waxed nylon flo. orange
Weight -
Wapsi Plated Eyes, Small (0.47 grams)
Eyes - Easy Shrimp Eyes (much easier than positioning two separate eyes)
Egg Sack - EP Trigger Point Fibers, flo orange
Legs - EP Crustaceous rubber legs, tan and flo. orange
Antennae - Black and pearl Crystal Flash
Face - Gray Fox
Body - A little pearl Ice Dub follow by wrapped EP Foxy Brush Coyote 1.5" then brushed flatish with a little hair cut on the top and bottom

Thank you. Saltwater flies are fun to tie because the hooks are large, you can use really strong thread, and you are not too worried about an extra thread wrap or two.

When I tie some larger saltwater flies, after all of the little trout stuff, I feel lost, with all that space to fill; takes a while for me to adjust to the different proportions.
