Am seeing “orange” color lenses advertised as good for flats fishing. Any comments on your choices of color in Polarized sunglasses.
I use photochromatic copper and amber…I switch up every few hrs to keep strain off my eyes
I use Haber photochromatic copper/rose and amber lenses for flats fishing both in Belize and Mexico. I alternate depending on light conditions. They work well and I have used lots of other brands.
I too like the Haber copper/rose photo chromatic and my next favorite are plain copper photochromatic (also called polarchromatic). I really prefer these adjusting lenses on days with some clouds since the lenses adjust with light intensity. On very bright cloudless days I will sometimes go to a brown lens.
I have used most all of them but must confess that Habervision is what I have been using as of late and I have no complaints…I even like them more than my Action Optics
Thanks all, ordered a pair of Haber copper/rose yesterday.

I prefer copper on the flats if it sunny, amber or gray if its overcast.
The copper/vermillion/rose shade is your best bet. I have looked through dozens of pairs of other people’s glasses who are having problems spotting fish. They usually have gray and when I look through them I can immediately understand why they are having problems. The copper and amber shades make the colors brighter while gray will usually dull them.
