Yep.i have been using them for years. They stay sharp but always wipe the blades clean.
Similar to the one shown, I use a pair of 4 3/4" nippers made my MUNDIAL. I bought mine at AC Moore but since then the store no longer carries them. I still use the original blades from about 4 years ago.
Here are photos to show what they look like. They come in two sizes
Those are real nice if your little piggy fingers will fit into those holes… trouble is, My fingers have trouble fitting into ANY scissor holes so I am stuck with spring loaded type scissors. Oh well… the spring loaded type are easier to pick up off of the table anyway…
I have fairly normal sized fingers but a friend gave me a pair of scissors from a medical procedure, then I got a pair they were going to throw away after closing some opening I had made in my body. The finger holes were kind of small, so I took my dremel and cut the loop next to the lower attachment point, opened it up with a pair of plies and slid a piece of plastic tubing on it Worked so well I did another pair.
This is what I use almost 90% of the time I am tying. Best scissors bar none! I also got the big brother for trimming EP fibers.
