So a buddy comes to town and you decide to take him fishing. The results are predictable if the two buddys are guys. Can you say character assassination? I’d like a report from Kevin with his side of the story. Something tells me it might be a tad bit different.

Great job, as this was a fun feature article to read, and it gave a chuckle about the give and take.
My friend Kevin is great fun to fish with. Our approach to fishing is very similar, and we are both fairly intent on fishing when we start to fish. He does a little coaching of yours truly, but if I did not need a few pointers on my fly casting (my “fly casting” is a very sorry affair), and need coaching most of the time I hook a good fish, he would not do it.
My problem with big fish, usually on light tippets, is that I tend to get impatient and start to horse the fish, which will bring a swift bit of lecture not to do that.
Anyway, fun article to read.
