Rays post under fly tying on the Edson Tigers made me think about fishing them. I have some in my box that I tied several years ago. I fish them very rarely, only every now and them, but should fish them more often. They are in my trout fishing stuff, and I mostly fish warm water for bluegills and the like. I should tie some for my warm water stuff, which would give me the chance to fish them more often.
My question is how many of you have fished them much, and how did they do?
I fish my Edson Tigers now and again in our lovely little streams. The bluegills and smallies seem to love them. I’ve only caught one little brown on them though. Maybe I’m not fishing them right? I wouldn’t be surprised.
Love them and have tied them from Tandem to Clouser, to Bendback and have caught many fish on them. Even tied a couple once as Muddlers. They work just fine on Landlockeds, Trout and most Bass as well as panfish and saltwater quarry.
