Fred
love it what did you use for thread
Danville’s white 6/0 . The thread is colored with markers and coated with flexament head cement.

This is a super fly… I don’t think I’d fish that one, I’d put that one in a shadow box and tie another to fish…
Wow, now thats a fly.
2 questions.
nice are the legs mono
Fred, that is just a Great Fly!!! I cannot imagine a Fish or a Fisherman not going for it
Thanks, this guy will probably be my tying desk mascot
No I have not fished this one. It took about three hours for the first one. Trying to figure how to get it to turn out looking like a spider
Yes the legs are mono wrapped in thread. The mono alone does not hold the colors of the markers well.
Thanks Dave.

Fred, Totally AWESOME!!! Those are museum quality flies, errrrrrr, spiders. Wow! Take care, John.
How about a FOTW, complete pictures and step by step?
I am sure we all would like to see this one.
Really a nice tie!!
Denny
Hate to put you on the spot Fred but I agree with Denny would love to see it as the “fly of the week”
My 8 year old loved it and wants to know the mascots name.
