Fishing Derby for Kids in Northfield, MA

On Saturday April 29th, 7:00 AM at Schell pond there is a fishing derby for kids.

Prizes will be given out, fish can be kept or cooked on the spot as well as C&R. The local Kawanis club stocks about 200 fish 12" and over in a pool that is about 30 yds long and 15 yds wide. It is a great place for kids to catch. No entry fee, open to all children.

Absolutly is sponsored by the Kiwanis. They do most of the work and raise the money. Then I get to go down the night before and stock some fish and act like a suurogate grandfather for any kid in need on the day of.
