Went out fishing yesterday.
Had some succes with two new flies to me.
Will get some pictures of them when I write it up.
One pattern from a magazine and the other from one of my dreams.

Ah, peacock herl. A self-respecting panfish fly shouldn’t be caught dead without a little on it somewhere.

Just might have to try to tie something similar. Looks like a good gill fly.
With various appendages of peacock herl, how durable are those flies. Are they badly damaged after 1 or 2 fish?

I caught 15 gills on one fly and it looked about the same. the peacock may heve been a little shorter.
