It is the Elk River “Two Step”! Cast up and across, mend and at the end of the drift take a step or 2 up stream. Just strip the fish in and repete!
After catching 4 in a row with this method Warren wanted to name it the “Hise Shuffel” but I prefer the “Two Step”!
It’s a lot of fun to fish with these guy’s, never a dull moment that’s for sure. You best have a good sense of humor when fishing down here in Tennesee and when the ages of the “Tough Guy’s” total about 190 there is a lot of experiance to draw on.

Actually the photo of Warren with the line on the water is Warren trying to find out why my 3 wt didn’t cast as good as Jack and his rods. After he got it straight, it turned out it was probably the arm connected to the cork grip when I was casting.
