I had to come home early from the Central Washington Fish-in and work on my house, My daughter Rebecca caught her first trout on a fly. The look on her face made the whole trip worthwhile.

Yup, we weren’t far down stream when Rebecca hooked up with that one. Very nice fish for a young lady who already ties very nice flies. Good Show, Rebecca!

Joe yes it was Rocky Ford, for those of you who haven’t fished Rocky Ford Rebecca targeted that fish because it was one of the small ones she wasn’t sure about landing one of the big ones on her 4 wt.
