Really nice rod, the grip and wrap quality on mine seems fine; also views of the Shenandoah (saw a bald eagle on my 8 mile float);and a Nucanoe with optional LayZBoy 
Nice rod and nice fish. Iām still pretty sure that my next rod will be the BVK 6wt with the fighting butt for smallies and white bass. I cast one at Troutfest this year and really, really liked that rod. I currently have 5ās and 8ās, with nothing in between. What line are you using on the BVK?
Im using an airflo 7wt right now, I want try my gpx 6wt. It likes the 7wt. I understand the fighting butt 6wt is due out soon.
