The Fifth Annual Stu Apte Fly Fishing Sailfish Tournament will held 18-24 January 2010 in Guatemala.
The luxurious Casa Vieja Lodge in Puerto San Jose is hosting again, as it did with the 4th Annual this year.
This is a team event - two anglers per boat, and per room. There are also packages for non-angling spouses or companions.

Legends meet for the first time - Dale DePriest, Stu Apte & Capt. Ron Hamlin. Ron has tagged over 10,300 fish and released 26,000 pelagics in his career. Of the 26,000 - over 22,000 have been in Guatemala!
Winners of the event: Pete and Tim Eshelman with Jeannine Apte and Capt. Chico Alvarenga (F/V Canaso). This is the second year in a row for the Eshelman’s victory.
