Anyone familiar with the Fenwick Bass Class fly rod - BCF 908-2?
It appears to be a discontinued model, a 9’ 8wt. I’m looking at getting it for steelhead.
Any input would be appreciated.

It may surely be a commentary on Fenwick’s current status that this post has been up here and elsewhere for several hours and nobody has commented.
(Wish I could help, but my Fenwick 908 is an old glass Ferulite. I don’t think the rod you inquire about is comparable. If it is, I can tell you that my old rod is a “hoss.”)
I’ve got that old “classic” glass 858. 8’ 6" 8 wt. I haven’t used it in years. “Hoss” describes it perfectly. A Morgan Horse version of a spey rod! It always did cast best if you helped it out with the bottom hand!
