We are thinking of heading west for our vacation this year. I am pretty sure that MT has banned felt soled wading boots, but am not sure about CO.
No ban in Colorado. I believe the only state ban is Alaska.
The only one I’ve heard of is Alaska as well, and that I don’t think takes effect until 2012.
I don’t think there is an outright ban — not positive – anywhere yet. I think they will start falling into place next year. Might want to check with one of the fly shops there — I think there are some sponsors --maybbe Bighorn Fly shoop - that you could look up there number real quick.
