Thanks for the tutorial, Kevin. I think I will try it on the rod I am working on. I’m not sure what feathers I will use, though. I have some good guinea feathers and a nice partridge skin, that might be interesting.

It really is pretty simple. You can use all kinds of feathers and can even combine bits and pieces to create images. I have done inlays that look like traditional winged wets from little feather bits.

Only problem with them, is that I can’t very easily give Kevin a hard time about them, if I have them available otherwise!! And it’s such fun to give him a hard time!!!
