FAOL needs a 2010 Calendar?

What do you all think?

Submit photos in this thread and full sized ones later if they are picked by admin to be made in to a calendar.

I make one yearly for Xmas presents.

I like it. What does Admin think? I’m ready when they are. Any rules or guidelines?

Kelly.

Deanna needs to put stamp of approval on.

I too do calendars for friends every year for xmas. While last year was all fishing all the time, this years are just shots of what I found while fishing, going fishing and coming back from fishing. However it is one thing to do a few calendars on your ink jet printers and something entirely different to a hundreds by offset printing. I am a commercial printer and priced out a calendar job for a bank and even at a few thousand calendars the price per calendar was well over $1.35 each. Not certain FAOL admin is ready to pony up the expenses when they aren’t certain how many would sell. It’s also getting late to get this started for the '10 calendar season. Just my two cents on this issue.

I’d like to nominate Deb Freely and “Friends” (Hexagenia limbata) for June or July.

no sense in getting FAOL in the selling of calendars trade.

I made mine today in one hour and ordered it already.
3-5 days and will have it. Could have it
wrapped up in here by end of November and
people could order at lulu.com.

How much with Lulu per calendar?

23 dollars and some change in 3-5 days.

13.5" x 19", coil binding, white interior paper (100# weight), full-color interior ink

honestly, the one photo from FAOL that would make me buy a calendar is that montage made of all the “putting a face to the name” postings. one big photo for the whole year and a calendar with just the days on it–not unlike what the dairy used to send.

if it has the FAOL name on it the owners of the site should be the ones to approve it

Costco photo gallery will make one up for you, just go to costco’s website and download the pictures.

cost for the 8.5X11 is 9.99 the 11.5X14 is 17.99

I’m pretty sure walmart photo online will do the same

Eric
