Just a random thought before the coffee kicks in.Having been dragged kicking a screaming into the computer age late I’m having a riot with this forum.(I graduated from college in 1980 no PC UWM shared computer time with a main frame at UW Madison, punch card input COBAL, and FORTRAN) I just checked the origins of the people participating in the two fly swaps I’m in. What a wonderful way to meet people, exchange ideas, and bring people of diverse backgrounds together. Maybe there is still hope for the human race to realize that we have more in common than not. Thanks JC and LF.

Hi my names Mike and I’m an FAOL addict . I get up a half hour early to check the board . I check as soon as I get home for work .I have been known while having a late dinner to eat at the computer during chat hours.My wife has gone to bed mad more than 3 times a week because " I spent all night at that damn computer".They say the first step is to admit you have a problem …I AIN’T ADMITTING TO NOTHIN … THERES NO PROBLEM !!!

At work is the only time I get to check the boards so while I’m at work I’m literally on the board all day long reading every update. But while I’m at home I wish I had internet so I could…check the boards. Yes I’m addicted.
I could quit anytime I want to.
Just like when my wife challanged me to stop fishing.

I have a tendancy to check so often that my office mate says I am addicted to ‘fish porn’, he just doesn’t understand. G Especially seeing he is the same way with his ‘motorcycle porn’.

micro, one time i was looking at ken abrames site, “striper moon” at work. A female co-worker came into my office, glanced at the screen, and said, “WHAT are you LOOKING AT!!!” “Striper moon,” I replied…“it’s a fly fishing site.” “Oh,” she said, calming down. “I thought it said ‘Stripper Mom.’”

a WW2 combat flight sim site amoungst other
things…at least my wife thinks I’m addicted.
My eldest son thinks I’m nuts and my 7 yr
old thinks I’m cool. Unfortunately his vote
doesn’t count for much around here.
