Pretty much all of our colors are gone, but there are still a few hanging on here and there.
These pics are from the area I spent most of my time fishing this past summer. Its a park just a couple miles away from my office. It’s very unique in that there is a decent sized pond with VERY skittish LMB and some really big bluegill and then, on the other side of the parking lot the Big Walnut River flows down through a really pretty little area full of BG’s (and all the many variations thereof) and some really nice SMB. Anyway, here are a few pics of the colors hanging on a bit. It was dumping rain the day I took these and some of the pics have a few rain spots from the lens.
Nice pictures. We don’t see much of that in the Mojave Desert. Thanks for sharing your neck of the woods. Jim

We are really into early drab around here. Great to see there is some real color left somewhere. And great pics, as usual.
Got to get you out here one of these days with that camera of yours and do justice to this neck of the woods.

Nice pics WildOne. The trees in my area are still with leaves and in their fall colors. I wonder if they will drop at all? Odd not to be raking up the leaves this time of year.
