I tried to send this to Rom via PM, but it would npt work
Dear Ron
I am afraid my activities have been greatly restricted lately, on Xmas eve I had an attack of Iritis in my right eye, which previously was my good eye. I was kept in hospital overnight and received lazer treatment the next day, Xmas day, it improved my vision greatly but I cannot drive or read a newspaper. That means also no fly dressing or any work on my web-site. I don’t know how much better my vision will get. I shall have to back out of the FAOL swap, could you inform the Swap Master for me.

I’m very sorry to hear that you have been afflicted with this eye problem. I’ve been in a similar situation with a less severe loss partially due to age and partially due to medical complications. There are some excellent magnifiers and high intensity lights that may help and make fly tying possible again. If best wishes and prayers from your friends will help, you should be getting better soon. You will certainly remain in my prayers. 8T
My deepest wishes and heartfelt prayers go to you today, hopefully your sight will improve back to and beyond the point of seeing a #32 flishing fly on your vise.
Donald, I am deeply sorry to hear that you are having problems. I wish you the best and I shall be praying for you. I am one of the many that hope that you are back at your vise in short order. I’m sure that there is a stream in Edinburgh that misses you. Take care and get back to us as you are able. We’ll miss you, too!
