Glad to hear from so many of you that you were spared the blows. In Arkansas we got hit in a number of localities last week with seven deaths. It looks like tonight will be a repeat of last Thursday. The weather service is predicting high winds, large hail, rain and the possibility of a tornado or two. One pundit says we are in a pattern that may last for several weeks. I feel like we are being bracketed by these storms and just waiting for the next hit.
tis the season for it. hope all are prepared. we got spared alst night. front fizzled out as it crossed Penns Woods. everything is blown out right now and more rain/storms on the way. some of my coworkers live along sherman’s creek in perry county and are getting ready to leave their homes if needs be.
Well living in Dunn,NC anywhere west of the house has damage, guess everyone has seen the kids video before his dad drove the car right into the tornado! That was around a mile from me,picked up insulation from someones home and shingles hopefully not from my house.Yard was covered with nickle size hail, limbs and pine cones have been picked up,could have been worse.
I live in a small W.KY town Called Bardwell, we had a tornado hit the center of town Sat. afternoon it pretty much destroyed 4 small businesses, ripped the roof off the Baptist Church which in turn took roof and gables out of a Senior Citizens Appt. complex behind the church. Other bisinesses had the winows blown out, awnings ripped off, several homes hade minor damage also. The good Lord must have been watching over us because we had no injuries what so ever.
We have large hail and tornados on the way! If I dont make it I leave my fly rods and fly tying stuff to Zac and miss Betty lol I leave my beloved coonhound to uncle jesse lol. Talk to you all in the morning.
Yesssssssss!
mnklagoon,
Hope all is well with you this morning.
Mark K,
Praise the Lord no one was hurt!
Yes everything is good. I have not seen wind like that since KATRINA. Zac the rods stay here for now heeheehee!
ZAC!!! I am appalled at your response!
<umm … which rods we talkin’ 'bout ?>
Miss Betty… He has glass. And I know he’s a bream fanatic, so he’ll have the appropriate gear!
Kid,
Any Son of Kansas ought to know that glass is the first thing to get broken when a tornado comes through.

Hope WarrenP and JackHise are doing OK. Tornado warnings right now in their neck of the woods!
Doppler indicated tornado over Perry County tonight. No funnel clouds reported by storm spotters. We had high winds with vivid cloud to ground lightning and pea to quarter size hail. Central Pa is really getting hammered tonight. Hope Dave and our members there are doing alright.
We had some rough storms here in KY but all is well. Lots of flooding all the streams are blown out and lakes are muddy. Wettest April since they have been keeping track of such things. Tired of being wet.
