hook - Dai Riki 075 #8
thread - Danville 6/0 orange
tail - mallard flank
flash - Mirage tinsel opal
abdomen - brassie wire copper
thorax - Starburst dubbing copper (from the Dungeon; similar to Angel Hair)
hackle - ginger

mash barb, start thread; wrap to bend
measure (shank length) some mallard fibers; tie in
tie in flash on either side of tail; trim short of the tail tips
tie in wire at 2/3 mark; wrap to bend
spiral rib back to 2/3 mark, helicopter end, cover with thread
