Last Saturday I spent an enjoyable day fishing with Russ, a guide from the Worley Bugger Fly Co. http://www.worleybuggerflyco.com/ on a guided trip listed as a Private Multi Species Trip http://www.worleybuggerflyco.com/multispecies.html
This took place in Eastern Washington.
It turned out to truly be a multi species trip. I started off with four really nice and fat Rainbow Trout, we had 4 to the boat and 2 early releases J. Then I hooked into 2
Smallmouth Bass, one a very nice 3.5 to 4 pounder and the other a smaller size one. Then to complete the Multi Species trip I hooked into a rather nice and very unhappy Carp, which we got to the boat. Russ held it while I took a picture of it. I also hooked another Carp but managed to do a long line release on that one.
It was a good day fishing.
At the end of the day I headed over to Ephrata to join in the feast at the CWFI (Central WA Fish In) but most of the people had already left. I did have a chance to visit with some of the remaining FAOL’ers and I watched a video of ThunderThumbs playing his bagpipes, good job by the way!
