Eastern Washington Snow Levels

In some areas of Eastern Washington, the local snow levels are down to 2500 feet. It shouldn’t last very long, but the BIG WATER season is on the way. It should be good for the fish, but it’ll put a load on the shovels, backs and snow blowers this winter. :D:mad:

It’s snowing here too… Best Regards…

Joe, I hit a snow rain mix this AM on my drive over Blewitt, and heard Stevens had traction tires required for awhile this morning! A lot of white on the hills around here!

I hear that Sarah can see it from her house.

Windy and wet over here on the west side. Predicted over 2 feet of snow today in the north Cascades. 20 will be closed for sure.

We live in town (Livingston MT) and I can SEE snow from our front windows on the sleeping giant just outside town. Continuing to pack S
pull out Friday morning God willing.

We’ve got some snow in the Bears Paw mountains just south of town. Had a little dusting on the ground this morning when I woke up, but it’s gone already.

Tis the season,

TT.

I have finaly moved far enough west that I should never have to worry about snow. Ill just wait till summer and enjoy all of yours

In the Spokane area of Eastern Washington, the snow isn’t too bad. A good heavy snow helps to smooth out all the pot holes in the streets.

All ya’ll be careful out there. I have traveled to most if not all of the major cities of the USA and a couple in Canada, the one thing I can say is universal is “The only person in every city who knows how to drive in snow is the person you are talking with at the moment.”

The people that scare me the most while driving in snow are the ones driving 4x4s…and I drive a 4x4.

Quote from Lotech: " I hear Sarah can see it from her house". LOL!!! Thats just too funny!!! BTW, you said that the snow was DOWN to 2500 ft. My question is, HOW DEEP WAS IT BEFORE IT STARTED MELTING?? I gather you don’t use your average yard stick to measure it. Oh that’s right, you probably don’t even get to see your yard!! You must have some pretty good year round sleddin tho!

Kerry Stratton - I was in Shreveport La. one time in a snow storm - One of the scariest situations I ever had to drive in. Sure, it’s funny looking back on it!! One thing some 4x4 drivers seem to forget, is that 4WD helps you get going, but doesn’t do a thing to get you to STOOOOP!!! You’ll slide all over the place with the best of them. LOL!

Best regards, Dave S.
