You can buy your advanced tickets at the web site. If you do not want to fight for a parking spot I recommend parking at Bass Pro and taking the free shuttle that they are providing. This one is HUGE! If you like anything outdoors this is one show you should attend.

Hope to see some of you there!

I hope the fly fishing portion continues to grow. I have been attending since 93 and last year had the most fly fishing related vendors.

The Hamburg Cabelas has discount tickets also.

I try and go every year mainly because I still do a lot of conventional fishing AND they sell BEER!

The parking & bus shuttle deal that Bass Pro Shops offers is absolutely fantastic! There is usually coupons available at the Bass Pro Shops booth for a healthy discount on merchandise so we always do some shopping at the BPS store after the bus drops us off at the end of the day.

I do know that the Evening Hatch who always had the nicest FF booth at the Outdoor Show is NOT going this year or at least that’s what they told me at Somerset. I really don’t mind the small representation of fly fishing. It’s nice to talk about lures, baitcasting and soft plastics once in awhile.

Besides, I get my fly fishing fix because we always start the day off with a visit to Bob Clouser’s shop down in Middletown and end it with the fly shop at BPS.

This year they are adding a fly fishing pavilion. Don’t know what all will be included but is a good start
