Has anyone been to any of the streams around here lately?
I fished the Little Lehigh on NewYears day.

Fished Rattling on New Years Day. Super time and of course saw no other fishermen execpt for a kingfisher and a merganzer. They were both much more skilled then me.
Had a very good day on the first. Plenty of fish and only negative was I wore hippers and waded a bit too deep, Wow ( and that is high pitched) the water was cold. Wet Fly Guy and I again fished it on the 20th with good results. He had a rainbow and also had two on at same time on a wet fly rig. With lots of success on green weenie I corrupted him into using oine and I believe his last 5 fish were on this junk fly.Maybe some day next week or so I can meet you done there to give the fish a hard time.
Where is the Rattling located?
Rattling I am referring to is a small freestone near Lykens Pa. Flows into the Wiconisco Creek then on to the Susquehanna River. Small not real fertil stream with limited stocking from state. Local Club ( Short Mt. ) does good job supplementing stocking from their co-op nursery. Small stream cannot take a lot of pressure but it does have some reproduction of both browns and brookies. Only 7 miles from my home so it provides a quick place to spend a few nice hours.
