Eastern Idaho fishing report

Although the snow is finally falling the fishing is still excellent on the Henry’s Fork, South Fork and Teton rivers. Spawning browns can be caught on streamers, and daily hatches of midges are still happening. General trout season on the Teton river closes on 12/1, however whitefish season goes until March 31th. Remember all trout must be released unharmed. For current fishing conditions call us at 3 rivers fly shop in Driggs. 208 354-1200

Welcome aboard! Delighted to have your report - don’t forget us when the season is really open either

call me a jerk. i dont mind. im not trying too stir the pot. BUT. why do people yank them poor browns off there redds when there doing there thing. (would any of u guys/gals like too be ripped outta bed tossed around the room then put back while ur doing ur thing with your spouse. i dont think u would be in the mood after that either.) sure its a GREAT chance too get a lunker cuz there in shallow water and very aggresive but come on give them poor fish a break. u can try too catch em the other 10 months of the year.
