I have been dyeing feather for the past couple of weeks.

I have been doing it in Easter Egg Dye.
Pheasant, turkey, and goose feathers take a week to get good color.

Using 6 colors from the dye and a regular PT makes a neat colored PTN.

A PTN from red tail fibers and red herl is a good early season gill fly.

I think they work great. I have been doing it for about 4 years. I just get more feathers to do now.
