Dubbing Brush Twisters anyone?

8T,

Sorry for the delayed response. For some reason, my DSL line is down at my house so I had to wait until I got to work to access the internet. I shipped your dubbing twister out and sent you a PM with the appropriate information.

I have completed all the orders I recieved and have two dubbing twisters left. If anyone is interesed, they are $30 plus actual shipping cost, usually from $5 to $8 in the US. If you’d like one fo the two remaining dubbign twisters, please send me a PM as it is first come first serve.

I added the extra hook eye to the handle to allow the user to attach a dremel to the dubbing twister for powered twisting which is quite a bit faster. It’s a simple but effective way to add power and speed to your dubbing twisting.

Thanks

Jim Smith

I have one of Jim Smith’s Dubbing Brushes, and I really like it, and use it alot. I did modify it slightly, by drilling a hole in the center of the black handle so I could use my dremel to speed up the spinning process. It is not just for dubbing, you can place fine ribbing wire in the dubbing brush, and make twisted ribbing wire for your fly patterns. I also use it for making Kevlar Tippets, for my Northern Pike/Largemouth Bass fly fishing (you have to secure the ends with some CA adhesive, aka: Super Glue.

Jim,

If you are still making these I would be interested.

Thanks
