Drives me up the wall...

"and the fish dont seem to mind a bit "

When I see this statement …it does …drive me crazy…when did anyone ever talk to a fish or know if they [the fisherman] could have been more successful doing something else

Well at least we all now know how to drive you crazy…

…we’ll just make sure to add, “and the fish don’t seem to mind a bit” to every post!

I talk to fish all the time and even though they mostly ignore me, they don’t seem to mind a bit

This is an epidemic, web-wide so let me clarify. LOSE= something not found.
LOOSE= something not tight.
Whew!!! That feels better.
When i asked the salmon this question this morning only one showed irritation and the rest didn’t seem to mind one bit

I cannot speak for others but … I talk to fish all the time while fishing.
Do they answer back?

Here is where I would like to exercise my right as provided in the 5th amendment to the Constitution on the ground that such answer would most likely be self incriminating?.

RW here,

You know folks, I don’t mind this thread a bit.

I like green chili burritos. Sometimes, it’s obvious by their actions, the fish do mind. Well, keeps me warm on those cold days on the water.

I told that BIG ol fish to bite my fly, but just like a little kid,
The fish don’t seen to MIND at bit (sorry, a little play with the sentence)

Ducksterman,
In your HONOR, because your a fellow Oregonian, I have not responded until now.
I am  and  ed at what these guys have done to your post!
JC, Put Down That Tuna Fish Sandwich and do something!

Doug…I like what they’re doing

especially Bamboozle’s …“tough love”…I’m thinking of making it part of my signature…maybe it will help me cope

Bamboozle’s Reverse Therapy!
Doug

I talk to fish all the time. And they, and the voices in my head, don’t seem to mind a bit.

Next time I start to write this, I will change it to: “…and my catch rate did not significantly drop over previous levels…”
Would that be better?

Only if you don’t want to improve

ducksterman,

I do not know if what I do is called “talking to fish”. I think it would fit more to “calling fish”, because when I am having problems getting a “take”, I will call out loud the following phrase and it seems to work most of the time: “Here fishie, fishie”

As far as “drive you crazy”, someone told me that would a very short drive!

My call was similiar, Here Fishy! Fishy!<><
When we would finally find the fish in a res. or lake, it was called “THE ZONE”
Doug

Nicely pun!

Neither I, nor the fish, mind a bit.

When I miss strikes, I don’t mind a bite…
