Are we supposed to fill out the questionaire every month? I thought I read somewhere here that we didn’t have to, but only supply our name and email after filling it out once (I couldn’t find it in a search).

Hi,

The following is taken from the Free Drawing page just above the questionaire (Link at the left). It reads to me that you only have to fill it out once; after that, you can enter the draw every month (but only enter once per month!)

I have one of those rods and I like it alot. I built mine from their blank and it is a sweet rod.

While JC should be the one who ultimately answers that question I do believe that Hextall is correct. Probably a nice idea to update it every time you make a change.

I ask that everyone stop putting their name into the pool so that my chances increase of getting another one (just kidding).

I have an Elkhorn Graphite rod. All parts, 100% are made in Korea. Everything is assembled her in U.S.A. It is my understanding the same for bamboo. IMHO they are extremely high quality, all the way down to the rod tube. If you win you will be one happy camper, er fly fisher. I should be so lucky.

I won last Septembers’ drawing, & I probably update that questionnaire once a year (if that). I know I did not update it that month, & it clearly states above the questionnaire that it is not necessary to complete it more than 1 time.

I bought one of Elkhorn’s bamboo rods at the Bellevue fly fishing show, 7’6" 4 wgt in a 2/2 configuration. Very nice casting little rod. Lays line out very nicely. When I was buying the rod, Brian told me that the guy who cuts the cane, builds the rod. A real one man show. No matter where it’s made, this is one nice casting toll.

Pay no attention to Murphy!! Everyone who has registered MUST do so again. The err um fratistat was disabled or the muffler bearing was looseor something so no one’s registration for this month worked. Everyone but me must do it again.

… You have to re-enter too !! Something to do with the caches dumping when they re-did the servers and then Jupter lined up behind Mars.

There are usually 2500 or so who enter. What should we do if Steve or Crooks really gets picked???

I forgot if I entered, if I enter twice do they trash both entries or just the dup-licate one? Or is there a way to check to see if I entered this month?

Hmmm, I see this is getting complicated. How about we discard this months draw altogether then start over next month with a clean plate! I suppose that would mean this month’s prize would end up discarded though? I guess I’ll have to take care of that then since it’s my suggestion (should just learn to keep my mouth shut, eh?). Well just send it to me and I’ll deal with it. That way, all will be sorted out for a nice clean start to next month. No, no! No need to thank me!

I really hope I win. I never won any type of drawing in my life, and I really want to try bamboo rods, they sound AWESOME! Good luck to everyone, whoever wins would most definately enjoy a bamboo rod from what I have heard.

Hey backbeach…just wait it out. When I won in September, I couldn’t remember whether or not I had registered, so I didn’t take a chance of doubling up. Darned glad I didn’t!..Maybe this is YOUR month?..Good luck.

I usually register at the beginning of the month, but I think if I saw that prize I would’ve remembered- absolutely beautiful. I had alot going on this month though. I just registered. It would be pretty sweet to end the month on a positive…Thanks for letting me know JC.

Hey Mike, If I win I might be tempted to commit sacriledge by putting an automatic fly reel on it so I can use it one handed til this dang shoulder heals…
