thread - MFC 8/0 Hot Orange
abdomen - peacock herl/Uni-stretch orange band
wing - elk dyed orange
overwing - Hi-Viz orange
hackle - grizzly dyed orange
Part 1
Mash down barb, start thread at 60% mark, wrap back to bend
tie in some peacock; twist with thread, wrap to hook point, tie off but don’t trim
tie in Uni-stretch; wrap over peacock to create center band and tie off
twist peacock around thread and finish abdomen at 60% mark; tie off and trim
clean, stack, measure (tips extend a bit past the bend) a clump of elk; tie in, trim butts, smooth with thread
