Double Pink Weenie Test III

I realize you don’t copyright pattern (or recipe) names but I think the humorous name “Weenie” would have been left to Fred Bridge and his original “Green Weenie”.

I just noticed that the video to do easy barred rubber legs is currently listed below this one in the “New Posts” view. Here is a thought…put some barring on the weenie material using this same method. I’m thinking you could get a great ribbed-body look this way.

I just wanted to know how it feels when a catfish gets your last weenie? Did you feel disappointed or elated?

The catfish actually charged the fly as it emerged from deeper water on to a shallow flat area near shore. So the sequence of emotions ran through surprise, followed by elation, followed by disappointment as the tippit broke. I was close to total grief as my very last weenie disappeared into the depths. 8T

The weirdest thing.
Took out a few of my latest weenie creations to the lake across the street this morning. Nothing in the “get a picture size” as 'Gills go, but did get 11 in about 45 minutes.
“The weirdest thing”, however, was the urge to have a smoke, after I caught each fish and I promised each and everyone of them “I’d Call”, as they were released!?! Not sure what to make of that, really!?!

Given the name is all in good fun I think Fred would most likely approve. I don’t think there would be much competition between these two flies.

Paul, you cad, those poor bluegill just sitting by the phone waiting for it to ring. You should be ashamed of yourself.

At least you didn’t ask them “by the way, what was your name again?”… or did you?

Jeff

Uhhhhhhhh…Hmmmm.

Flybinder, you got blue balls?! sorry blue KOOSH balls??? uhhhh…that may be a sign that you should go out more. see if you can’t get any “action” and “hook up” with some others.

also i just thought of something… in order to help keep youre weenies in place, you might try getting them real cold so they shrink, then tie them down real tight. as they warm up and expand they will should remain firmly in place.

Boy! How 'bout them Cubs!?
