All you are looking for is Super Glue. You can find it in any hardware store. Scott Sanchaz and I use to talk a bunch when he worked for Bailey’s and we both agree that the brand is not real important. But some will last longer than others. Do to the bottle they are sold in. Ron
Thanks Ron !
If you buy the “gel” type super glue you will avoid the messes that always seem to happen with the thin super glue. I have been using the Loctite brand gel for a couple of years now and I like it better than anything else that I’ve tried.

Sorry, I have to disagree here. As one who ties lots and lots of double bunnies, I will say Tear Mender is far superior to any of the super glues. Super glue dries hard and stiffens the rabbit strips. Tear mender remains flexible and none of the bunny action is lost. Cabelas has it.

Just did a google search and it…Tear Mender… comes up all over the place…lots on ebay…even a link to using it to glue dog’s ears…

Shoe goo or aqua seal are also good choices even regular old plio bond will retain flexability,a thick coat of flexament on both hide strips works well also and most tyer’s already have it on their desk anyway…just a couple things I’ve noticed…
“I’ve often wondered why it is that so many anglers spend so much money on,and pay so much attention to.the details on the wrong end of the fly line.If they took as much care in selecting or tying their flies as they did in the selection of the reel and rod,They might be able to gain the real extra edge that makes it possible to fool a fish that has,in fact, seen it all before” A.K.Best
Everyone wants to excel in this sport but at the same time we let traditionalists place restrictions on our tactics, methods, and ideas. I always assumed that fly fishing was a sport that allowed imagination, creation, adaptation, investigation, dedication, education, revelation? : Fox Statler, On Spinners (Not the dainty Dry Fly kind) “Spinner’d Minner Fly”
