I don’t really pay much attention to the number of totals posts that are listed beside my name but I could swear that yesterday I had over 1100 and now I have less than 800. Where did my 300+ posts go. Yesterday I felt like a knowledgeable contributor to FAOL, now I feel like a virtual newby :lol: . Please help me. I have no self image, self esteem or self definition beyond that number :lol: . Seriously, I’m just curious about the decrease. Anyone else suddenly drop in total number of posts?

I just noticed I dropped a couple hundred also.
I started here in 1999, I think. I’ve used a lot of different names because I’ve used a lot of different ISP’s. Every time I change ISP’s I have to change email addys, and thus my name. I think my first name was jlsanders225@worldnet.att.net . Things have changed a lot since then. I believe I’m listed at somewhere around 350 posts, but in reality it’s a great deal more. Somewhere between 1000 and 1500 if I had to guess. I’ll probably change again if I’m offered a better ISP price. I don’t much pay attention to the number of posts anymore. I just look for names that are familiar. I was then, am now, and probably always will be: Lotech Joe.

I suppose the total # of posts is interesting…also, IMO, it might be interesting and meaningful to list the # of posts in say the last year…

My past intial posts are certaintlly not important, but what is important
to me are the responces. This is how I learn and pass on the information.
So I copy and print them out then file them in a binder…
What a treasure trove of information.
The best thing is the majority of threads in my FAOL binders are from all
other folks questions.
As of today I have two ring binders flagged by subjects.
The posts date back to 1998 so there are quite a few.
I may have some of your lost ones :lol: :lol:
as I type here I had a thought, my criculum for Happy Hearts on Moms Pond
will be started with my FAOL binders. 8)

May be the upgrade required a purging of sort and some of the history has been archived allowing for searches, but drops the link for stats such as number of posts.
I lost some, but the most important thing to me is the info shared on the site.
Now I can claim that I was not ass mouthy as msome folks thought.
