Neat fly; simple to tie, catches fish.
hook - Dai Riki 320 #16
thread - MFC 8/0 brown
egg sac - chenille small light olive
abdomen - muskrat
wing - partridge
hackle - brown/dun
mash barb, wrap thread back to bend
strip end off chenille and tie in
one wrap of chenille, tie off and trim
dub thread, dub body to 75% mark
tie in partridge; extend wing gap width past bend
tie in hackles
wrap hackle (did these one at a time, both at once works, too); tie off, trim, half hitch x2, SHHAN

Thanks Scott. I really like this one! I’m always on the lookout for easy to tie caddis patterns. This one is definitely going in the box.
Speaking of boxes…I have to ask. Based on the number of SBS’s you do here, how many boxes of flies do you have?

Royce,
Kinda like Noah’s Ark - 2 of each per stall
Have to admit, a number of these have been one-offs, experiments, itch-scratchers, just-for-funs, although some are moving to the production line.

nice bug! I really like the effect of those two hackle colors combined.
