Desk Top Wallpaper

I just upgraded my computer to Windows XP Pro and I was looking in my Control Panel & I discovered a Fly Fishing Desk Top Wallpaper. It shows a Flyfisher & Fly.
Does anyone have Windows XP??
Thanks,
Doug

yep! XP pro.

I have xp Media delux but no flyfisherman in wallpaper. :frowning:

I copy and paste a picture of whatever fly I am currently working on into wallpaper for quick reference till I figure it out. It sometimes helps to have a full page picture right in front of you while tieing.

I did put a pin up girl on there instead of the fly once but my tying production went way way down .

I tried having the Hardy girl as wallpaper once. I was so mesmerized that I never opened any applications. Red hair…blue jeans…hip boots that fit just so…Oh, and the Hardy reel is what really captured my attention so much that I had to remove it. I figured that if I couldn’t own it I should not tempt myself with it.

Let’s see, where did I file that jpg file away at…?

Try this for a wall paper, my dream car:

Here are some good fly fishing ones to calm you down after the ride in that American Muscle Car:

This is the best website I’ve found for fly fishing pictures> http://www.troutnut.com/ This site has hundreds of pictures that can be used for wallpaper. In fact I have one on my office computer. When things get frustrating at work I just pull up my desktop and imagine myself standing on the creek drifting a hairwing caddis… it’s my happy place!

Yea where did ya? I’d like that one myself!!

I use my own photos of fishing locations as wallpaper. Right now I have a small gorgeous stream from Perry County, PA as both my PC and cell phone wallpaper. I also use my fishin’ photos in a slide show screen saver.

Sometimes I just sit there looking at the screen watching the images flip by; trying to remember where the heck they are.

I’m with Bam…much more meaningful to use your own photos 8)

Doug, the one supplied with XP is nice. Here is one from Sage I now have on my pc. http://www.sageflyfish.com/default.asp?p=69

I am somewhat partial to this one:

Mainly cause it is mine.

Here is the original, if anyone is interested. And yes, if you would like you may use it.

Bill and I have a pic of our littlest girl…lol…shes a ham.

TyroneFly,
The XP Wallpaper literally looks like wallpaper. I wonder what a Tying Room would look like with it covering the wall?
Thanks for the download!
Doug

I had that Xp wallpaper on my home CPU until I got my Pentex WP digi camera and then up went my photos, helps me remember why I gave up a $60,000CDN job to live on my army pension and the love of my wife… My faverite one is the one of me holding my largest Crowsnest bow…

XP is great, pick any photo you have and right mouse click on it. Then select “set desktop background”. You can use any photo you have of download.

Oops! Sorry, that link was for a screen saver. I don’t use wallpaper on my pc as it takes up memory. With today’s programs all veying for memory, I need all the freedup memory I can to keep the system running.

This guy landed on the handle of my spey rod while fishing the Clackamas River last June. I reached into my vest, pulled out my camera and shot it while holding the spey rod in one hand and camera in other. He has since been my wall paper on both of my laptops and towers in by business.http://flyfishnw.com/images/eporeus.jpg

Interesting! My first trout on a fly was on a Yellow Mayfly, on the Clackamas River (Austin Hot Springs) 65.
Nice photo!
